Raleigh Street Ministry

Wake Cross Roads is committed to ministering to those who may be struggling in our local area.  One way we fulfill this commitment is by ministering to the homeless and others who are in need through our Raleigh Street Ministry.

A team of volunteers meet at WCR a couple of times per month and travel to the downtown Raleigh area.  Food, water, hygiene kits, coats and other items are distributed. Most importantly, team members have the opportunity to share the gospel with each person they meet. We have been blessed to see many people come to Christ through this ministry.  Children less than 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Ways you can help.

  • Pray
  • Provide bottle water, hygiene kits, coats, scarves, gloves, hats, and new socks to be distributed.
  • Join our team for a trip to downtown.  Teams typically meet on Friday evenings (twice per month), leaving at 6:30pm and returning around 10:00pm. We don’t need a big commitment. Come as you can!
