We believe that the Great Commission of our Lord applies to all believers. As a result, our Evangelism/Outreach ministry is designed to involve all of our members in reaching our world for Christ, based on the model of Acts 1:8, “And you will receive power, after the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the Earth.”

We are currently using  the G.R.O.W. outreach model. This model is designed to spread the responsibility of evangelism/outreach/ministry among our entire church family. Our teams meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday every month from 6:30-7:30pm each for “One Hour – Once a Month.” Together we are seeking to reach our community for Christ.

We are excited about what God is doing in and through our people as we seek to reach Raleigh for Christ.

We have a Hispanic ministry that meets for Bible Study every Sunday morning at 10:30am. Through a time of Bible Study and Worship, all in Spanish, we are seeking to minister to Hispanic families in our area and share with them the good news of the gospel of Christ.

Outreach to North America – (Reaching our Samaria)

We have had many of our church members who have completed their seminary training at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and have now expanded the ministry of Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church all across the United States. As a result, we have established partnerships with church planters in Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Vermont, Ohio, Nevada and Montana. We currently offer at least 4 North American missions opportunities each year. Through prayer, through giving and through going we are seeking to continue to be a part of what God is doing in and through those He has sent out from us, partnering with them to reach North America for Christ.

God has richly blessed us with the opportunity to be part of what He is doing around the world. We have been able to establish ongoing partnerships with IMB missionaries in the countries of Hungary, Slovenia and Brazil. We are currently looking at other opportunities to expand our worldwide missions focus to include a missions partnership on every major continent. We offer at least 2 international missions opportunities each year. We are trusting God to increase our opportunities in the year ahead.

It has been a tremendous blessing to see so many of our people participating in reaching their world for Christ. Whether it is through Adult Sunday School classes donating needed supplies, children’s classes “adopting a missionary,” or countless other ways of being involved (praying, giving and going), God is working through us, His Body, so that those of every people, nation, tribe and tongue would come to know Him.
