Bread of Life Food Pantry

Our monthly food pantry at WCR is designed to help those in our community who are struggling to feed their families.  We desire to offer food in support of physical needs and want to build a strong caring relationship that allows us to understand spiritual needs and lend prayer support. We hold food pick-up events once each month, on the third Thursday, from 4:00 - 6:00pm by appointment.  Walk-ins are accepted, but we prefer that you schedule an appointment if possible.

 

During your food pick-up appointment you will enter our church building by the Worship Center entrance, which is located on the Mitchell Mill Road side of our campus.  Signs will indicate the designated parking area. Upon entering you will be taken to a private room to speak with our encouragers on how we can assist and pray for you. After that, we will load your car with groceries and schedule you for next month's distribution!

Family sized items unless noted otherwise. Please avoid glass products if possible.

 

  • Peanut butter (small jar)
  • Box of cereal
  • Boxed instant mashed potatoes
  • Boxed dinners (hamburger helper equivalent)
  • Canned Fruit (15 oz or larger)
  • Small can of tuna
  • Bag of rice (2lb bags)
  • Canned spaghetti sauce
  • Spaghetti noodles
  • Canned ravioli, spaghettiOs, etc.
  • Ramen noodles (individual packs)
  • Box macaroni & cheese
  • Canned green beans
  • Canned peas
  • Canned corn
  • Jelly
  • Oatmeal/grits (family sizes)
  • Canned chicken, beef stew, soup
  • Ramen noodles
  • Soup

 

Paper Product List

(as of September 2021 we are also accepting the following paper products to be included in our pantry bundles)

  • toilet paper
  • paper towels
  • diapers of all sizes

 

 

You can place donated items in the red Collection Bins at the church entrances any time during office hours or Sunday church services.
