Dr. Randy Mann
Lead Pastor
Randy rejoined the staff at Wake Cross Roads on January 1, 2022, exactly 9 years after leaving WCR to serve as lead pastor at Central Baptist Church in Henderson, NC. Randy previously served WCR for 10 years in a variety of associate pastor roles. Randy’s passions are personal and corporate disciple-multiplication, as well as pastor-training and disciple-multiplying through international missions. Randy completed his M.Div in 2002 and his D.Min in 2010, both at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also completed his Master of Arts in Health Education in 2022 from East Carolina University. Married for 27 years, Randy and Melanie have three adult children: Josh (married to Jamie), Caleb (married to Sophie), and Abbie; plus one granddaughter.
Dr. Jeff Gordon
Executive Pastor
Jeff began serving at Wake Cross Roads in August of 2019 after serving three years on the pastoral staff at a church in Greensboro and seven years as a missionary with Word of Life Fellowship in Bangkok, Thailand. God prepared him for his role at WCR as Executive Pastor through a career in banking prior to entering vocational ministry. Jeff has committed his life to making disciples of Christ who make disciples. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Liberty University, and a M.Div and D.Min degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jeff and his wife, Jessica, have four children: Jackson, Sophia, Caroline, and Benjamin.
Brandon Walls
Family Pastor
Brandon joined the WCR team in January 2020 and has a passion for seeing middle school, high school, and college students grow in discipleship. He holds a BA in Worship Ministry from the College at Southeastern and a Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Seminary. Brandon's hobbies include music, mountain biking, playing paintball, and detailing cars. Brandon and his wife Alli are natives of the Triangle area and have been married since 2016. They will welcome their first child this Spring.
Dr. Rocky Wright
Interim Worship Pastor
Rocky is currently serving in the interim period while we search for our next Worship Pastor. Rocky is Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary's director of Prison Programs and associate dean of Judson College at Southeastern. He and his wife, Charlene, have two children.
