We believe in church membership! Our members are those who have chosen to invest in what God is doing through WCR and commit to our membership covenant.
6 Steps to Membership
To qualify for church membership, a person must follow the requirements listed below.
Salvation
To qualify for membership in this church, a person must be a believer in Jesus Christ who gives evidence of regeneration and who wholeheartedly believes in the Christian faith as revealed in the Bible.
Believers Baptism by Immersion
Members must be baptized by immersion with believer’s baptism in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Attend a Next Steps Class
Participation in this class is required, as it goes over our church, beliefs, mission, and vision. You’ll learn about the structure of WCR and the privileges and responsibilities of membership!
Signed Membership Covenant
Each member must agree to subscribe and submit to the teaching of Scripture as expressed in the Statement of Faith and must promise to keep the commitments expressed in the Church Covenant.
Elder Interview
Prospective members must meet with an elder so they can determine that all requirements for membership have been met.
Presented to Congregation
Once all necessary steps for church membership have been completed, applicants will be presented to the congregation as new members.
