WCR wants to offer a family-based discipleship program to assist families in having quality time in God's word together each day.
The Word of Life Quiet Time devotional guides believers in developing the habit of listening to God through daily Bible reading and application, as well as talking with God in prayer. The Quiet Time follows a 3-year reading plan that features every genre of Scripture, all the historical Bible books, and the entire New Testament. Our church will work through our Quiet Time Journals following the school program year from August through the end of July.
Children
Quiet Times for CHILDREN are filled with searching questions, puzzles, and activities to help them engage with Scripture. Books are designed to be age appropriate for 4-5 year old preschoolers, for those in grades 1-2, grades 3-4, and grades 5-6. Each Quiet Time includes a section with ample room to record prayer requests and answers to prayer. Kids in our Wednesday night Olympians and Gopher Buddies programs will receive their quiet time FREE of charge so you do not need to order them one here.
Teens
Quiet Time Interactive for teens has penetrating questions to encourage application. There is ample room to record prayer requests, and it includes “MOBILIZE FOR THE CAUSE” content designed for follow-up of new believers.
Adults
The Adult Quiet Time has commentary on each passage, a place to journal, and a section to write a personal application for each day. There is ample room to record prayer requests, and it includes “MOBILIZE FOR THE CAUSE” content designed for follow-up of new believers.
Accountability
On Wednesday nights, Kids and Students will have small groups to discuss what they learned in their daily time in God's Word. Our Sunday morning Firm Foundations Bible study is designed to provide accountability for adults as it follows along with our daily quiet time reading schedule.
We are shifting our Quiet Time schedule to sync with the school program year. We will begin in our new Quiet Time journals in Fall 2024 and these books will be used through the end of Summer 2025. Order yours today to make sure it arrives in time!

Journals will be available for pick up during regular church office hours Monday through Thursday from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
