Once you enter through our main entrance off of Forestville Road, stop at the Welcome desk to fill out a visitor card or let them know that you registered online to receive a free thank you gift.

From there you can head back to our WCR cafe in the gym for a complimentary cup o' joe to start your morning off right. Feel free to take it with you into the worship center and find a seat.

Sunday Morning Bible Studies
9:45AM-10:45AM

At 9:45AM on Sundays we gather in small groups throughout the building for Bible studies on various topics. We have classes for kids, students, college-age, and adults. Here you will develop meaningful relationships that encourage one another toward a closer personal devotion to God.

Sunday Morning Worship
11:00AM-12:15PM

Our worship service starts at 11:00AM on Sunday morning and lasts about 80 minutes. We open with prayer and a time of worship through song, led by our worship team. Then our lead pastor will bring us a expository message working through a book of the Bible verse-by-verse. Many of our congregation will hang around and chat for a while after service is over. We have a great community here at WCR!

Nursery for children age 0-5 is available during our 11AM worship service. Older children are encouraged to attend worship with their family.

Nursery & Children

Stop by a kiosk in the lobby to check in your child and print their name badge and security tag. Your child's room assignment will print on their name badge. Our children's rooms are named after the animals on Noah's Ark. For example, if your child is assigned to the Lions Room, look for the room with an lion painted on the wall beside the door.

Keep the security tag with you. You will need to show it to your child's teacher at pickup.
What should I wear?
Most of our church members wear their "Sunday best", but you can wear whatever you feel most comfortable in! You'll find some in jeans, some in fancy dresses, and everything in between!

Do I have to be a member to attend?
No, you do not have to be a member to attend Wake Cross Roads. If you decide that our church is the place for you, we would love to discuss membership in further detail.
Where do I go if I want to learn more?
Please stop by either of our Welcome Desks at the main or front entrance. Let them know you filled out a connection card and receive a free gift as a thank you for visiting!
What about my children?
We have classes for all ages during our 9:45AM Bible study hour. Your children will learn a bible story, make a craft, and play outside on our fenced-in playground.

During our 11:00AM worship, we have nursery for ages 0-5. Older children are encouraged to attend worship with their family.
Do you have anything for middle and high school students?
Our student ministry suite is located on the second floor above our gym. Middle and High school students will gather in the Student Suite for Bible study at 9:45AM, and then head to 11AM worship with their families.

We have a multitude of other programming available for students on Wednesday and Sunday nights, plus special events like summer camp, mission trips, weekend retreats, and more!

What to expect on Sunday Night

Sunday Night Connect is a more informal gathering from 6PM-7:30PM that provides more opportunities for our church family to connect with one another. Women and Men meet separately at the same time as our Kids and Student Connect ministries. All ages will have time to learn together, pray for one another, and spend time in fellowship with other believers each week.

Kids Connect
Children's Hallway

Kids Connect is designed to inspire a powerful generation of Christ-followers through missions, ministry, and music. We strive to help kids ages 3-years-old through 5th grade grow in their spiritual development as they learn the biblical basis of worldwide missions and how to worship God through song.

Kids will learn where and how God is working around the world and their part in God's plan. They will also spend time worshipping God through song, and will have opportunities to lead our church in Sunday morning worship throughout the year.

Student Connect
Student Suite

Join us on Sunday nights for community building with various games, activities, and fun outings! Before the end of the night we take time for intentional prayer in small groups.

Womens Ministry
Music Suite

A time for women to get to know each other, be encouraged in their faith, laugh together, and pray for each other, our church, and our community. Each night will include fellowship, faith, fun, and a farewell prayer to send you off into the new week encouraged and uplifted!

Mens Ministry
Room E107/108

Men's Connect serves as the primary avenue for discipleship within our men's ministry, so make plans to join us on Sunday evenings! A typical night consists of large group teaching, small group discussion, and sometimes a fun activity together.

What to expect on Wednesday

Wednesday Night Equip offers classes for kids, students, and adults to dig deeper into God's word in order to better equip themselves as followers of Christ. Join us for class at 6:30PM, and don't forget to check the calendar to see if we're having a family meal that week!

Family Meal
5:30PM in the Gym

Join us for a family meal before Wednesday Night Equip! Please register by the Monday before the meal so we can plan for food. Family meals take place in our gym - high chairs are available.

Olympians for Kids
Various Rooms

Envisioning the Christian life as a race, our Olympian program features the Olympic theme and urges children 3-years-old through 5th grade to “go for the gold” in their pursuit of godliness. After checking in at a kiosk, check your child's nametag to see which room they begin in.

Student Worship
Student Suite

Student Worship provides a casual, fun, and intentional environment for godly fellowship, student-led worship, and verse-by-verse Bible exposition. Student Worship is the front door to the Student Ministry and seeks to be the most inviting environment for first-time guests. The goal of Student Worship is to encourage Christian maturity, build and promote student leadership, foster relationships, and grow deeply in the love of the Lord Jesus Christ. Student Worship meets upstairs in our student suite.

Adult Classes
Worship Center

Adult classes vary throughout the year. We may have multiple classes to choose from, or we may all meet together in the worship center. Click below to see our current class offerings.
